About
About TMF
A group of people who want to play their part in ending poverty in the places nobody visits.
History
Tuaam was founded on the 27th of Ramadan by the late Dr Muhammad Hamid, author and educationist, with two tandoors in Lahore. It grew to Rawalpindi and Islamabad and then across Pakistan. Dr Hamid's vision was to reach the most vulnerable — that is what the foundation is for.
Mission
A healthy, educated and hunger-free Pakistan. TMF works in remote areas deprived of food, clean water, health and education, through a network of district coordinators and volunteers rather than branch offices.
Why a ledger and not a brochure
TMF has real field operations, a named board, and was among the first responders in the 2022 floods. What it lacked was proof: a way for a donor to see where their specific money went. This site is that proof. Every figure on it is a database query, not a claim.
Late Dr Muhammad Hamid (1944–2021)
